Once I was in Vegas, my water pump went, and the places I called wanted to charge $650! I called Albert to see if he could ship me one. He told me to call around and only accept a $350 price. He saved me so much money. Thank you, Albert, for all the years of great service.
Albert has been repairing and maintaining mine and my family's vehicles for years.. always satisfied and if I have any concerns he we take another look at the vehicle. He is quotes are what you pay..if he finds other issues he lets you know before doing any unauthorized work ..good man..good mechanic.
Not doing honest work. I had them work on my car while I was living in LA, but was able to take it to my usual mechanic back home a few months later and found out the work was not done/done properly. The leaking valve cover gasket they "fixed" is still leaking. They messed up wires when replacing the starter. I hadn't even come for a starter replacement but he did it anyways claiming it should be done and now my wires are destroyed. I should've known this when my car radio went dark after picking it up. I do not recommend Albert High Tech. Probably took advantage because I'm a woman, honestly.
Albert is our go to family mechanic/body shop. He's always responsive no matter what time of the day you reach out to him. I've had several experiences when I was in so much stress and I had no idea where to start in terms of repairing my car, or weather it was fixable at all. And he always guides me through the process step by step with such patience, and the repair times are so fast, I have my car back sooner then I know it, he positive attitude to life and the way he's passionate about what he does, is so zest full and takes the stress element out of the car repair process, and makes it a smooth and seem less experience. I've referred several of my clients and family members and friends to him, and they've been nothing but grateful, to get to know to Albert and his great work.
To be fair, I don’t review businesses based on only one visit. So this is based on years of using Albert High Tech. I originally met Albert through another technician who replaced my hybrid battery. Albert had installed new brakes for me but then I found out that he could also service my car and he turned out to be so much more affordable than the dealership so I started going to Albert for years and he did such a good job. I also recommended a couple of my friends and they’ve been going to him too.
Then came the time when my catalytic converter was stolen. Albert was AMAZING. He found the new part, tuned up my car, checked the air pressure in the tires, looked at my battery and even dealt with the insurance company. I felt like I was dealing with family.
I’m just a customer but but Albert has just made me feel like a friend and I appreciate finding someone I can trust. I’m just glad I found him.
Finally! I found The BEST NICEST HONEST mechanic in LA! I cannot recommend Albert highly enough! This man went well above and beyond in getting my car fixed FAST and Thoroughly! You will be in the best possible hands, 100% go to Albert! 1 million stars!
I was referred to Albert High Tech for my 2013 Volt by my friend Scott Dupont, who has written a book on the Volt. Scott is an expert on hybrid cars. After getting a quote from The Auto Nation, Valencia Chevy dealer for 100k service and tune-up which was estimated at an amount so high, I would have considered just buying another car. I was so impressed with the level of friendly professional treatment by Albert and his mechanics. Although he said he would need to have my car all day for the extensive all-point service, including transmission service and all fluids, sparkplugs, oil change on the gas generators, plus much more, he surprisingly had the car ready by early afternoon. He covered all the points the dealer does and even more. My Volt has over 120k and is a pleasure to drive especially in LA where gas is at a record high of $5. per gallon. I drive my car with assurance and confidence that it runs smoothly, beautifully, and dependably knowing I have a pro like Albert High Tech who will service my Volt with expert precision and integrity. Albert High Tech is conveniently located in North Hollywood. I 100% recommend Albert High Tech for all hybrid cars from a simple oil change to full service.
I've been going to Albert's for over 10 years. Albert basically watch me grow from my 20s through my 30s, from new to LA to being happily married here.
