The photos make it look a hundred times better than it really is. This is still the main bus station for the capital of New York. A more depressing place is hard to find. I’m sure it’s not always completely empty but here it was hard to tell if it was open …the bathrooms weren’t. Only travel from here if you really have too.
Would give 0 stars if the option were available. The fact that the company is aware of the complaints about this place yet chooses to do nothing is the reason why people should spend their money elsewhere.
My daughter arrived from Boston on time but after 3 hours b of being on the bus she needed to use the ladies room. All of the toilet tissue dispensers were gone and the stall locks did not work!! The bathroom need to be completely renovated and cleaned. It’s a disgrace for visitors coming to Albany - what an impression you’re making on our beautiful city.
I'm standing here in the station more than hour after my bus was suppose to depart. ???? Well at least I'm inside now during this 24° temperature...because for 40 minutes the station was closed, we were outside, and the driver hasn't arrived for the 6:15 am departure(still waiting. Well at least I can get something to eat and use the bathroom...well no because the bathrooms are FILTHY and there is no place to eat. It is now 7:30 and still no bus/driver???? if I could give zero stars, I would. Update- the bus finally departed at 8:40am
They don't deserve a star, the worst customer service, they canceled my trip and they didn't notify me, the customer service woman was the worst experience, she talked to me very badly, it seems like she doesn't like her job, her service sucks.
It was the worst experience I have been through. The woman was so rude to me I don't think people like that should work in customer service. After all that the tickets were booked wrong and I have to pay more to make them Right
IF I COULD GIVE IT A 0 I WOULD. Inside was closed so we were waiting outside for an hour just to find out that greyhound cancelled all buses but didn't notify anyone until 2 hours later. We were lucky enough to get a ride back home, but some people didn’t have the means to get back. Terrible.
Definitely one of the shadier bus stops I’ve been to. The cafe breaks every health code violation I can think of. I’ve been in cleaner and more welcoming 7-11 stores at 2pm. Also there is no gender neutral bathroom which is disappointing for transgender people and mothers with small children. Nobody wants to pee on a moving bus...
