The place was an interesting place and a nice little dive bar with some good food. We ordered the bacon cheese burger and the Kodiak Burger that came with fries.
The bacon cheese burger was good but on the average side of flavor. The Kodiak Burger was very interesting as it was shrimp and house sauce. I would say get the Kodiak over any burgers as it was better. Each came with fries, but the fries were a bit cold.
The service was good and they were nice.
If you are looking for a beer or two I would highly recommend this place as it was not full, very quiet, and not too far from downtown as downtown closes around 6 pm.
Overall it was a nice experience and many of the beers looked great.
Just tried this place out. Not at all disappointed. I got a double bacon cheeseburger, which was bomb-diggity. 5 stars all the way literally and figuratively dripping with flavor.
The fries are great. Beefy steak fries, well seasoned. No need for catchup.
I also got a salmon burger which was nice. The fish was good and fresh, good color to the meat. I'm a commercial salmon fisherman and it gets my stamp of approval, the sandwich it's not exactly how I would make it but not bad at all. 4.5 star.
The service here is beautiful, I live only a couple blocks away, placed my order from my driveway and by the time i got there and paid it was practically ready. 10 minutes or less from time I placed my order.

The inside of this place is very nice and clean, has some bear skins on the walls, feels like a cozey den. I would definitely recommend this place for business lunches, or weekend burgers and beers
Cost for my 2 meals was roughly $50 after a 15% tip. So not crazy considering I got Salmon and a double bacon cheese burger. +bidenflation

Staff are bilingual and if you like cider I recommend the tropical cider by king st brewing co.

This was a nice local dive bar with some good burgers! There are a variety of burger types including chicken, fish, and chorizo patty options! They also have quite a few beers on tap as well. Simple concept, nice execution. The inside is rustic and homey, great for casual dining.
Just landed in anchorage and was craving a burger and found this amazing place that I hadn't even heard of before and it was amazing. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and the meat lovers. Absolutely a must have. The fries were delicious, the music was great and the service was very welcoming.
I’ve eaten here twice before, and it wasn’t bad… nothing to write home about, but not bad. I decided to give it another try with the mushroom swiss burger, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious. I’m also not a huge French fry person, but the crispy steak fries that came with the burger were amazing, even to-go. I actually finished them first. The only thing I wasn’t wild about were the sweet pickles, but that’s personal preference thing. I give this place 5 1/2 stars. I will definitely be back!
First time here and I would say it was super satisfying! We ordered the Homer Burger, Meat Lovers Burger and the Mex Dog.
Homer Burger- this is a definite 10/10, the slaw and the firecracker creamy dressing were heavenly! The fries were crispy and seasoned generously too!
Meat Lovers Burger- definitely grab a knife before hand because this burger is stacked and full of flavor! The onion rings i would give a 9/10, just wish they were a bit crispier ????
Mex Dog- personally I thought the amount of jalapeños were a bit over powering but the flavor was definitely there. I was just a bit confused about how to eat it at first because of the avocados. I feel like it would’ve been amazing with a guacamole spread in the avocados ????
My favorite burger place in Anchorage BY FAR. Ive ordered the Swiss and Mushroom burger and the Alaska Salmon burger and both are amazing! The fries are the best I’ve ever had. Try it out you will not be disappointed!
I’ve recommended it to 3 others and all of them said it was the best burger they’ve ever had
