I don't know how anyone can rate this less than five stars. I showed up unannounced, they immediately started working on fixing my tire, and charged a very reasonable rate (honestly it seemed low). They had some extra work to do on my wheel with corrosion and valve stem. I told the owner I appreciate your work on this. He said, "It's gotta be done right." Any time I need tire work, I know exactly where I'm going.
Wanted two tires he said $65 then it was $85 and when I went in the next day to get them they were 90 ea. I'll pass what was he gonna say when I came to grab them 100 ea.
Minimal work done here but it was quick and affordable. The couple old dudes working were cool cats. Will definitely return for repairs and whatnot.
Alaska Tire World are professional, flexible, and there for us in a pinch. After sliding into a curb and causing damage, they were ready and willing to repair it. Damage included a dent in the wheel and the necessity for new tires. They set us up with tires at a very fair price. They are absolutely worth trying out. Give them a call, talk about their services - you will not be disappointed.
Positive experience. Since I have not put tire and wheel on the vehicle yet, it is premature to give a 5. Work was guaranteed though. I've already given a referral to a friend.
Terrible experience... Greg wouldn't give money back for tires I didn't use and wanted to bring back the next day. Won't use again
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! This last Saturday I paid them to mount two new tires to my back end. On Tuesday afternoon the driver's rear COMPLETELY FELL OFF MY CAR WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT!
When my friend came to help me put on the spare. He took one log nut from other three tires to get the spare on for now. The lug nuts on my front end tires were on tight to the point he needed to use his body weight on the wrench to losen then. But the rear passenger was loose it was tightened by a hand wrench.
The owner from the get go tired to claim that someone tried to steal my tires. I have video proof that that is not true and all I do is drive 10-12 hours a day and go straight home.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt to work with him. In working with him I had to get my car towed the on my dime and find the missing wheel myself. While he went on a fishing trip all day on a messed up back.
After getting he got back and I confirmed that my home's video proved no theft attempt happened. He proceeded to say that my front lug nuts were loose for some other reason. Which was false and I called him out on it with one swear word. Now he refuses to fix what is his fault.
The last time I got my tires rotated on it was just months 3 months. They were put on by a power wrench and I have driven at least 5,000 since then without issue regarding it.
I had a real problem finding tires and rims for my car. The only answer I kept getting were those tires aren't made, no one carries those I called literally 15 different places. Alaska tire world had exactly what I needed and then some helps me quickly I was in-and-out and is one of the cheapest places for tires in town great service great place. Can't recommend enough.
