It's been a while since I rode public transportation, so it took a minute to get back into the swing of things. It's very simple once you understand the basics. Google Maps and/or an app called Moovit both worked great.
This needs to be said: though the police station isn't far from here and police continue to circle around from time to time, it hasn't done anything to prevent the homeless from taking over this transit Center at night. And since I have to catch one of the last buses out every week, it's disheartening to see how many homeless shout or pick fights with folks who just want to get home after a long day. My advice: avoid this place at night if you can. Police presence doesn't do anything to protect anyone from what has essentially become another homeless camp.
I only stopped there because a lady once asked directions. I told her but when I looked back I saw that she was asking someone else who was pointing he to a major location a few miles away. These pictures are meant to inform people better. This is fairly new with construction ongoing and on the streets fronting you will find the under construction walls featuring local artists. but the stops are well established and well lighted. If you enlarge the signs you will see the designations serviced there.
How are annual disability bus pass people supposed to renew their disability bus pass?
Your office is closed and no other places do annual only monthly!!! Update your website people travel far on the bus to get there and it is closed ?but days open from 7:30-4:30 on the app and internet? No other place does annual ones?
It's great cause it's centralized and there are a lot of buses that stop here going almost anywhere on the island that you need to go. Only thing is, weekdays are super busy, so there are always more people than seating.
There should be more signs that keep the Alapa'i Transit safe no pets no loitering no camping no pan handling no littering no smoking on transit property fine is $1000.00 or up to 1 years in jail for any violations on state or city property
It's the starting point for a lot of buses going west so you're able to get good seats on the buses. The station is well lit with lots of seating.
Good, mostly clean. Sometimes riff raff hang out
