The prices aren’t on the menu for a reason, that reason being that it’s very overpriced. The owner was super kind and the pizza was decent, but it is definitely not worth $31 for a 16” pizza.
Best crust and fresh ingredients. The crust has its own flavor and the cheese is much more like an old fashioned great pizza.
We got the Bay Something pizza. Basically a supreme pizza. It was delicious. I would have preferred the crust to be a little more crispy though. We also enjoyed side salads. I felt the price was reasonable. I would recommend.
Really wanted to like this place but it was a huge disappointment. Maybe okay for take out of a basic pizza but definitely NOT a place for a sit down dinner.
Alameda Pizza disappoints: food barely scores 2/5. Sanitation raises eyebrows, with the owner handling food without washing hands post rug pickup. A concerning "yuck" factor. Might want to think twice before visiting.
Do not get the lasagna, all noodles and meat sauce and cheese only on the top, horrible and rip off . The Greek chicken was good though
Great service, great pizza, and reasonable prices! Our family walks her on occasion for pizza Friday. We love the pizza parlor atmosphere, and the variety of choices on the menu. Try one of the curry pizzas! You won't regret it! The crust is a cross between NYC and Cali style, crispy bottom and fluffy top, large cut slices. The sauce is flavorful and mildly sweet. The cheese and sauce
create a perfect texture and flavor combo. The only downside was they seemed understaffed, which is probably because it's a family business, and is the norm these days, unfortunately. Therefore, this may be the reason some reviewers had a negative experience, in their opinion.
Best local pizza place! Prepared by hand, with love. For fastest service, place your order in person, or online (for pickup). It's often just the owner there, so they don't always answer their phone - but online orders are usually ready for pickup in 20-30 minutes. Give some grace for the busy nights - it's worth the wait!
