We were looking for some good Haitian food while in Fort Pierce for a family funeral and found this gem. We got the fried turkey. It was seasoned well.
I usually order the griot which is good. But last night I ordered the legum, Thursday 3/21. A little less than an hour after eating it I got sick. My stomach hurt so bad and I started sweating. I ended up in the bathroom for HOURS. My stomach still hurts this morning. I hate to say it but I’m scared to go back. I missed work this morning smh
My family and I were on vacation road trip, stop at Alabon restaurant to get some food. Unbelievable! Food was tasteless uncooked rice..spiderwebs all over the wall my son was scared I have to switch seat with him. I told the front desk lady, she is acting careless. Never again.
This was my second time coming here, the first time I was not impressed! But this time the GRIO was seasoned and marinated to the bone! Last time it had no flavor, my food was soooooo GOOD. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND BE CONSISTENT WITH YOUR SEASON!!!
I got salmonella at this restaurant. Please be careful eating here. I have never been so sick in my life.
Best in town!! Never disappoint. Lunch special are $6 larger plates are about $13. Worth every penny
Food was good and price affordable I'll recommend to watch out for salt specially the plantains
