What a great place, we always love coming here. Great home-cooked food AND desserts! Super friendly, great prices for what you get! Cash Only, so don't forget that.
Wonderful place, great home made food, service is first class. It's our first time and we will be back.
I always feel like I'm taking a step back in time when you could go out and receive a real home-cooked meal like my grandmother and mom would make. Desserts are fabulous from home-baked rhubarb pie to banana cream pie. There is a nice selection for daily specials, plus a large selection on the menu. Nothing fancy, just simple surroundings with some of the friendliest folks you can meet. I have been visiting this restaurant for years. My two grandsons just chose this place to eat the other day. Please note that debit/credit cards are not accepted. Cash or check.
Love the great country cooking at Al's Place. I haven't eaten here in over 20 years and had to stop in for breakfast. The food was as good as I remember, great friendly service. Love the atmosphere, complete with older local men sipping coffee and talking about the news weather, etc. Reminds me of home.
Loved it!.. Friendly Service - Best Fish I've had in a long while!..
Great atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. Food was wonderful!
Catfish and onion rings. Italian roast beef and french fries. Our server she was very nice and polite. If you're looking for a place to stop highly recommend.
This is one of the so called " hole-in-the-wall " finds. Its a country side bar and restaurant. If you don't know where it is you will miss it. The locals however know it and come to eat, drink and have a good time there. Family owned and operated, and it must be good since the place is open for more then 70 years. The food is country style good. The service is outstanding. When you walk in the first thing you notice is the old huge saloon bar and mirror. The ambiance is great it feels like you're home and welcome.
