If you want to find a relaxed low-key bar with absolutely great wings and a great time, I would, without a doubt, recommend this establishment. I have only tried the wings, and they are probably the best wings I have had in a very long time. The atmosphere, people, and staff brings me back to a local pub that I would always visit. Every time I walk in there, the patrons are more than eager to say hi. It also helps if you're a chiefs or bills fan. I have alot of family in upper state New york, and it's always great to relive that.
I had stumbled on this place had it on the want to go on Google Maps that decided to give it a try some place had not went to that the place has a sports theme for locals to have a beer and food to watch their sports game that I had their double cheeseburger with waffle fries even charged extra on waffle fries that the burger was really good and meaty and also do like the waffle fries as will and it is also not a big place made do on the high top table since it was busy on lunch hours and I would go back to this place if I am in the area and would get their buffalo wings do seem yummy.
I had the Buffalo wings which were cooked to perfection. My side was crinkled fries. Which were also very tasty. My girl ordered a cheeseburger and I had few bites of her cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was delicious. The portions are huge. The gal that was my server was friendly and attentive. The other patrons were very friendly as well.
Didn't order any food, but the cherry limeade drink is good! Great atmosphere, friendly service!
Update: came back for food, and it was awesome! The tator tot things are the bomb!
the dynamic of the bar is absolutely incredible!
The staff is outstanding. The food is bologna ???? and AL is hands down one of the best human beings I've ever met. Don't miss out on the best bar in the Northland area!
Oh and, the wings are pretty good too, lol.
Family and morale matters!
My husband and I love this place! It doesn't matter which server/bartender we get, they are all awesome! My husband and I like to go right before the dinner rush cause this place gets packed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for wings and other good bar foods.
I was happy to find an individually owned and operated restaurant that serves great wings. I have been so tired of BWW and the other national chain wings restaurants low quality food and service. I was in KC for the holidays and found Al's bar & Grille.
From the moment I walked in, I knew this was a good idea. The smell of frying chicken wings hit me as soon as I opened the door. Most of the tables were full of people enjoying a beer and wings. We placed an order for 20 wings and a few other items for the kids. When our food arrived, everything was perfectly cooked and hot. No one in our group had any complaints, which is a miracle when earing out with kids. The wings are some of the best in KC and the bar atmosphere seems like a fun place to hang with friends for a few drinks. I will stop on again when I get up that way.
Chiefs die hards beware. This is a Buffalo Bills bar with tons of Boofalo memorabilia everywhere. But who cares about that...
The wings were great! Not huge like peanut but more like BWW size but actually hot and flavorful. No gimmicky sauces here. Mild, medium or hot.
Chicken buffalo wrap was also stellar and HUGE.
Great spot.
