I tried the baked spaghetti and meatballs. It comes with a small pile of pasta and three good-size meatballs. Their red sauce is pretty good, and their meatballs are pretty good, but together it's very good. My co-diner got the spinach pizza. He said it was good, but a bit dry.
It's a nice much-needed addition to variety of restaurants on Dixie.
Now we need some good sit-down Chinese and Indian places.
Our waiter was very helpful with menu options. They even have a gluten free menu! The salad was one of the best I’ve had in any restaurant in a long time! The bread they brought out for the table was hot and fresh and delicious. My best friend and I both got the da Vinci and it was divine. Can’t wait to go back!
I'm confused as to how this place doesn't have five stars. PHENOMENAL. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is personal, and the prices are awesome. Comparable to Olive Garden pricing, some items are less expensive, but the food is WAY better. There are an abundance of menu choices, to include gluten free pizza. Shrimp Alfredo was delicious-hands down top three I've ever had.
Ordered some chicken Marsala to go. Hardly enough sauce for the pasta to be moist. It was served with Alfredo noodles which by itself was odd. Chicken wasn’t terrible but the lack of sauce didn’t do it any justice. Plenty of mushrooms but yet again.. hardly any sauce. I didn’t get one hint of wine out of the dish. Staff was friendly is the only redeeming factor. Probably wouldn’t go again
The personal pan pizza was huge and the price was great. Looked like a medium pizza. The flavors of all the foods were unique. Great spot off Dixie Hwy. The waitress was kind of slow but it was busy.
The food had good flavor and good portions. The size of the personal pan pizza was insane.
The Veal was underseasoned but the noodles and sauce were very flavorful.
Worth a visit forsure if you like Italian food.
The waiter was superb and very kind; kept our glasses full and checked often throughout the meal. Our table of four ordered a variety of entrees (baked Ziti, Chicken Marsala, and Hawaiian pizza), all which everyone enjoyed.
I mean …. You could try it I guess…
I brought a date here to check out one of the only unique and family owned spots on Dixie highway.
We had the meatballs which were ok, kind of run of the mill, and wine.
In total we had ordered 5 glasses of wine and asked that they could just sell us the bottle (which is 5 glasses of wine) instead of charging us for 5 separate glasses.
The charge for 5 glasses of this wine was $55, the charge for the bottle is $29.
The owner himself refused to be gracious and to be a good host. I’ve worked in restaurants in New York and LA for 15 years and would never treat a new customer like this.
The food, service , atmosphere is great. This is the second time the Young at Heart group from our Church has been here and everyone really liked it. The main thing there is a Simi-private area for groups to be seated and everyone enjoyed their food. We will be back here again.
