This place is disgusting, the woman's bathroom is flooded, the family bathroom toilet is so clogged it's over flowing, this is disgusting, we are people too who also have the right to use a clean facility l, come on people do better THIS IS NOT OKAY!! If I could post pictures I would, this is nasty!!!!!!
It's ridiculous that they made it to where you have to go completely off the property to smoke a cigarette. It's outdoors, it's public, so they shouldn't be aloud to do that. You used to be able to go to a specific part on the property outside to smoke.
Despite a few hiccups, the Akron Ohio Metro and Greyhound stop surprised me with its clean facilities, vending machines, and an ATM, even though the Greyhound desk wasn't open, and my bus had a two-hour delay. It's a promising stop for future travels!
If someone doesn't answer you the first three times you say, "It's free." and your reply is, "What, you didn't hear me?" nasty and condensing... maybe you should get more sensitivity training cause her answer was, "No, I didn't. I'm hearing impaired!" only for the bus driver to laugh at the young lady who didn't know the bus was free. The system is going down and it's disgusting.
Hand sanitizer dispenser needs refilling
Is inside the transit center for Akron metro bus lines. So, lots of people who are not waiting for long distance buses. Most likely to be catching a city bus. The food/cafe has limited hours so people can not get good food between 6pm and whatever time they open.
The transit is open all hours, as should be the Cafe.
This station is always clean. Heavy police/security presence to make commuters feel safe. Unlike bus stations in major cities like NYC, they care enough to keep the restrooms open. I ate at their café for the first time today also. Good food and the two ladies that served me were sweet, professional and funny. Keep up the great work over there, y'all!
Haven't been here since covid. There used to be working charging stations. They have the charging stations, but there useless and battered pieces of trash now. Benches are few in far between on the sides of the station, but still in masses right on top of each other smack in the center, don't get me wrong, most the drivers are hard working and professional, however I think they forget there in a bus, so hang on, its gonna be a bumpy ride. I still thank them for their service, I'm sure that's not an easy job. When the transfer station was first built, it seemed like whoever was in charge took pride in the facility. It didn't take long for it to go straight to hell tho. What happened??
