If you read no further than this line, this salon provides exceptional service and I would recommend it to anyone, especially someone who needs a beauty team for her wedding.
The week of my wedding, I realized i couldn't use the 3 make up artists i booked with another company bc they refused to show proof of vaccination or a negative covid test. Panicked, my mom and I called all the local salons in great neck. When i tried Airbar Blow Dry Bar, I was lucky enough to get the owner Jessica, who immediately put me at ease. She could tell i was in a super stressful situation and told me that by the end of the day, she'd sort out my need for make up artists for my wedding.
That very same evening Jessica got back to me with 2 incredible make up artists, Stephanie and Breiana, both of whom were willing to comply with the covid restrictions imposed by my wedding venue.
The paperwork to reserve the artists was extremely reasonable and easy to follow. I was able to fill it out and pay my deposit the next day. In addition, Jessica reserved these artists for the entire morning so they were able to travel to the venue where i was getting ready.
I can't say enough about the actual work these artists did. I have never felt more beautiful. I showed Stephanie and inspiration photo which she followed to a T. Stephanie and Breiana both did my bridesmaids as well who looked flawless. My make up lasted all day. I will absolutely be back in the salon to have either of these artists do my make up. If you are planning a wedding, I'd definitely book these women ASAP.
I had the best experience at the salon. The decor/ ambiance was beautiful and trendy. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. My stylist took her time to listen and gave me exactly what I wanted. My hair and make up came out bomb! I had soo many complements at my event. I am definitely booking my next appointment soon.

what she is talking about it when it comes to hair. She has helped my dry, and thin hair restore back to Heath! I always leave with gorgeous hair and will continue to go back. The staff is amazing, and so helpful. Absolutely love this place! Thank you for making me feel beautiful ❤️
Really happy with the service and the work! I booked at the last minute to get hair and make-up for my daughter’s senior photos and Stephanie was there at 7:45am to make sure we got out on time. We wanted a natural look and light curls and it came out absolutely beautiful!
They scam your credit card and charge you when you don’t go there anymore. The hair they don’t do anything special they do a basic blow dry like straightening and it doesn’t even look good comes to 70$ with the tip and they enforce a large tip that’s posted on their wall, so if you don’t want to leave that much they point at the wall. So not worth it.
I do see the owner commented below after I wrote this review. She tried to go in my account to find out who I am that left the review and who else I left reviews for. I understand she must be so upset and frustrated over this review but this is not professional and this is not the right attitude to do business. As a customer, I leave 5 stars and 1 star depending on how I felt regarding a service so other customers can benefit. Customer satisfaction should be the priority and as you see the owner comment below this review doesn’t reflect that.
The owner is super sweet and flexible! I had a few of my cousins who had hair and makeup done for my wedding and everyone looked great!! My niece (3 year old) and I went back and got our hair cut too! Definitely recommended!
The staff is gracious, professional and extremely cautious-especially now, ensuring all precautions are taken for health and safety -disinfecting, one client at a time, masks on-the whole nine. My stylist, Cynthia was incredibly attentive and sweet-I look forward to coming back to her and the salon as soon as possible.
Since the moment I walked in here a couple weeks ago, every staff member from the owner to Stephanie has made me feel welcomed and at home.. my blowouts I have been phenomenal such talented hairstylists.. very passionate about their craft
