Dale McVicar took 2 months to return my car after taking on a clutch replacement. The clutch only did 400 miles before failing again. Had to pay to get it towed home. The mechanic who recovered it was appalled by the quality of the work - it's evident from the photos how badly the clutch was aligned and the additional damage that caused. Had to pay for a new clutch and the additional damage. Dale ignored my calls and messages while I was stranded 400 miles from home and now that he's seen these photos, still refuses to take any responsibility let alone provide a refund. Even an apology would have been nice.
Not sure what I did to Dale McVicar for him to cause me this much stress and anxiety but posting this so others have a chance to avoid.
Same issue as other customers. Took car for MOT, afterwards full service and nearly a grand down in payment. No detailed bill. No breakdown of costs for parts/labour. Never seen this before. 'New' parts appear used as well.
This is not a recent experience, just found a way to leave a review since the car still has issues after my last visit. Not very trustworthy, won't be back
Took my car for an mot and service last week, everyone was extremely welcoming and nice. When I got the car I was told about all the work that has been done on it.

We are on our honeymoon and our car broke down. We went to another garage who terrified us, thinking our car would go on fire and was going cost £900 to fix! We stayed in Edinburgh and got to this garage for 8am. We met Ty the owner who was lovely and put us at ease with our car. He was so busy and fixed our car in a few hours. We can not thank him enough. Lovely guy very welcoming and spot on. Doesn't rip you off either. Highly recommend this guy. 5 star service!!! Thanks Ty.
Was on holiday in Edinburgh and rang up to see if they could fix my Toyota Prius airbag warning light. Not only did he take the care the same day, but it was fixed that day too! Great service, and seemed to take real care in resolving the issue. Thank you!
Huge shout-out to this garage! Amazing service. Had a major coolant Leak on Thursday night, took my car in on Friday morning and I had to get back down South on Saturday! Got an update within the hour and had the car fixed within the day!! Life saver, thank you so much!!!

Car working fine this morning, took it here for MOT, they snapped handbrake and now we are stuck 20 miles from home with it not starting, wouldn't go back here
