We were just driving through and stopped in and man am I glad that we did! The food was incredible we got shrimp and grits hush puppies fries and okra. First off I do not even eat shrimp and ended up stealing 4 off my man’s plate the grits were on point the fries seasoned to perfection! We will take the 45 minute drive to get to them anytime. The owners were so nice and interacting with their customers I know they love what they do. Thank y’all so much!
We went Sunday, 12/31/23, on Soul Food Sunday. The food was SO GOOD! Cooked just right! The service was timely! The owners (staff) are so nice and friendly! We were just stopping by but I hope to make it back there soon!
It was GUUD! Friendly staff, good food (I had catfish, fries, coleslaw). I even liked the men's room. See photos. Definitely worth a stop b4 or after SC.????

Found this diner by accident but I would honestly drive here on purpose. There is soul food and then there is food good for the soul…this place is good for the soul! The smells are amazing when you walk in and the food is cooked with love. People are friendly and even the restroom is decorated to make you feel at home. Don’t pass this one by!
They have the absolute best service around! The owners are super nice. The man saw that I didn't eat my burger (I didn't care for the seasoning on it). He offered to bring me something different. They truly care about their customers, and you just don't see that anymore. My husband loved the burgers ???? The only negative thing I didn't like was that the drinks were in a bottle. So, no refills
We will definitely be back, and I recommend this place to anyone. The next time, I'll try something other than the burger

My wife and I found this gem of a restaurant while camping with another couple in nearby Calhoun Falls State Park.
We were looking for a place to eat and found “Ain’t It Guyd” and were very much impressed with the owners.
Well, here it is a month later, and we are back at the same camp and looking for a place to eat on a rainy night. We all agreed the place to go is “Ain’t It Guud “ because the only thing we could say after our first me was was Ain’t It Guud.
Once again, after tonight’s meal, we all agreed the only thing we could say was “ain’t It Guud????
This place is a hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and get a loaded baked potato. The Sunday lunch is amazing as well.
The vibe here is family-oriented, you can smell the food from the street. The owners (staff) are very nice and attentive to the customers. They even have karaoke. THE FOOD IS TOP NOTCH LIKE GRANDMA MADE IT, A MUST VISIT PLACE...For food as good as this requires patience, it's not pre prepared sitting in a warmer getting stale, it's HOT & FRESH THE BEST I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME
