Immediately greeted by friendly staff. Not a fake smiled greeting, but a genuine one like I was a friend returning after a long absence! The food smells great and is constantly being prepared fresh. True family business atmosphere. I ordered four large meals, and nobody who ate those meals were disappointed or hungry after. “HIGHLY” recommend you go to experience this place and the people who work there….
Aileen kitchen had become one of my favorite Latin restaurants. The food quality and flavors are amazing! The chicken empanada are my favorite but I've pretty much tryed it all and everything is so good..10 out 10!!!!!
Let's give a shout to Aileens. New Latin spot on Cottage Street in Springfield. We ordered a few things in order to give a fair review. Let's start with their empanadas. We got beef and chicken. These empanadas were bursting with flavor, they were full of meat and the dough was amazing. Chicken had a slight kick of heat. Also ordered Arroz con gandules and Pernil (Spanish rice with Pork) the food was delicious. I added some sweet plantains and those were ripe to perfection and well cooked. Ordered 2 Chuletas ( pork chops) to top it off. They were fried well. I would personally lower the salt or Adobe on them... but other than that..they were very good. The place was bright and the people were very friendly. A smile goes a long way. Aileens is a must try.
First time there with my kids and we loved it.
Pernil & alcapurria was a bit dry but had flavor. Mayo ketchup sauce- not my fav(I think they add more to it) but it’s ok . . Rice was delicious! Both white & yellow. Chicken stew -. Beef stew- delicious. Serullos de queso & chicken empanadas - very delicious! Employees were very nice & attentive. I would agree the portions were smaller than most other places. But overall Food was good! Definitely I will be returning.
First time coming here and definitely won't be the last. The tostones nachos are incredible and will be ordered again. People working there are friendly and the order was ready when I showed up. Definitely a great spot.
I ordered rice and chicken and it had all the flavor very good won’t be disappointed and the soup was also good they should do sancocho some days ..

Aileen Latin kitchen is so creative with there dishes. Plantains, the nacho style !!! 11/10 wonderful flavors all for 8 bucks!!! Definitely should try out this new special !
Alcapurria’s delicious. My daughter loves the Potato balls. Everything is hot and fresh. The seafood salad is AMAZING.
