Do you want to take your car to a mechanic you can trust? Some place where you are confident your car will be fixed, or maintenance performed, without extra cost or unnecessary work? If you answered yes to these questions I recommend Bob to you without reservation. Time and again he has proven to be honest, trustworthy, as well as kind and accommodating. Yes, he needs you to pay in cash, but that a small issue that can be remedied with advance planning. Also you need to plan ahead to make an appointment as his other satisfied customers keep him pretty busy.
I was treated very well. He explained that it would be rare that both Camshaft sensors would fail at the same time, but that the timing chain and tentioner that was starting to fail.
As it turned out, I was not able to stay in Lincoln, Nebraska, to have the work done that I needed so I had no other choice but to drive back to Minneapolis, MN. and try to find a shop to replace the Timing Chain and associated parts.
Bob is such a great mechanic, he's the only person in town I take my vehicles to. Whatever the problem he always knows what to do. His prices are fair and he always answers the phone. He's also very kind and personable.
Great local mechanic. Bobby might be the most honest mechanic out there. Flexible and friendly. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star rating is since the last time I went, they were cash only and that gets complicated when paying for some pricier jobs.
