This family owned and operated with love authentic Mexican food is just awesome!! The slow cooked shredded beef is amazing with its rich flavor and tender texture. The chicken is delicious! The portions are generous and the service is top notch. You are surrounded by antique decor, from old photos and relics from the glory days of San Juan Capistrano. If you are looking for delicious authentic Mexican food with great service and a unique and memorable environment, Agustin’s is you spot.
Definitely authentic food. Service was fantastic. Friendly staff. Only disappointment are refills on soda are charged at a dollar each. When it costs less than 2 cents to fill up a soda and I spend almost $45 for my family's food, I think one refill should be free.
The meat here has no flavor at all. I'm sorry but it doesn't. I go here because my husband loves it. I am and El Molino, El Campion fan. I asked if we could try Ricardo's in town. We both love it. Meat had the Best seasonings and was just yummy. We probably wo t be back here.
Lovely family owned restaurant. The food was delicious. Nice portions. Returning with friends soon! First time we went the women we’re not very welcoming, Who worked there. This time it was totally different. A lovely woman serving the food was so helpful and kind and the young gentleman taking our order was very busy and yet he was very personal and so pleasant!!! Made for a beautiful evening. ????????????
My mom took me here, it was 1/3 mile from her house. Had the shredded beef burrito plate. I hadn't tasted shredded beef like that since 40 years ago in Tijuana! I will be going there every time I visit mom. Excellent!
Was stuck in the area for a part of a day and decided to look for a cheap local restaurant and came across this place. I didn’t really know what to expect but when I got my food I was amazed at the quality and the portion size for the price. I have recommended it to many friends and I will be back very soon!
Nice place to have a meal, and enjoy one of many Mexican dishes and breakfast, lunch, and dinner is served. Family friendly and no more COVID restrictions! Yeah
On my way home from hospital i decided to stop here for lunch. The place was totally empty and i wasn’t sure it was open. Owner was sitting at a table and was obviously irritated to have to move to counter to take my order. I asked a couple questions about the menu and apparently took too long. Before I finished ordering a taco and enchilada he cut me off and said for me to go somewhere else. First time I’ve ever been denied service. I’m still not sure why this guy was so irritated. No wonder this place was empty. I promptly went just down the street to Fernando’s where I was graciously served a great Mexican lunch!
We don’t need arrogant angry restaurant owners like this in our city.
I suggest you and your friends forget this place!!
