Very clean large park. There is a well equipped play park for the children with swings etc for different age ranges. There is also a sand area over a bridge with a wooden pirate ship. You can hire boats and trikes from here and there is also a mini train you can ride which isn't very expensive. There is lots of parking nearby and a cafe for food.
Great park with affordable activities such as paddle boats,go karts and train ride with the play area inc mini zip wire in the childrens play area.
Driftwood cafe on site for light lunches, cakes or hot/cold drinks.
Def worth a visit if you have little ones or just fancy a stroll.
A pleasant park to stroll around, large areas of grass for the kids to run around on, a playground area, and a small lake full of swans and ducks, leading down to the sea front promenade which runs for quite some distance for a nice stroll. There is a nice cafe/restaurant on site, the Driftwood cafe with an excellent range of product.
Agnew Park near the shore front in Stranraer is a great place for walkers, cyclists and families to spend some time.
There's plenty of parking nearby and public toilets and the excellent Driftwood Cafe.
There's a wee kids railway track with a mini train going around, also a boating pond with a bridge over to an island, a putting green and a mini-car race track.
It was significantly improved and refurbished and re-opened in July 2016
A lovely place to relax & unwind, great for the kids too. It has a small play area which is accessed via a small bridge over the lake. It also has a miniature railway & a nice cafe located at the heart. It is showing signs of age & is lacking a little TLC but on overall its worth a visit
Nice kids park. We liked the ship etc on the island see photo's. cafe and harbour, cafe was shut when we went to the park bu Good grocery shop across the road from it that did ice creams very cheaply. We were on holiday in the area . Free parking
A lovely walk around the park. Great for a walk away from the traffic. Good for kids.
Its a really lovely park, it has a nice little cafe, little boating lake, where you can get on to the island with its little pirate ship. The lake had a pebble beach on one side.
Lots for kids with a really lovely play area, but on the far side is a little train that goes all round the park, along with some off road peddle trikes. Train was £1.20 for kids.
You can also get down to the sea the other side of the park.
