I came here for lunch with my daughter and it took the 15 minutes to get the order and almost 20 minutes to get our food. The food was regular and flavorless. I should’ve gone to Mario’s Taco truck which I think and in my humble opinion is way much, much better then this place. The only decent thing here was the bean dip I got when we got here.
Good experience at Agaves this evening. For a Friday night, they were not too busy and the wait to be seated was fairly short. The service was good. Servers were attentive and checked in often. It was a simple meal consisting of asada nachos and rolled tacos. Both were hot and delicious. The rolled tacos had a hefty amount filling, which can be hit or miss depending on the restaurant.
The Food was ok.
Neat presentation.
Horchata was not home made.
Strawberry lemonade kids liked.
They didnt have virgen margarita.
Tacos ok.
Molcajete ok.
Jacky was AMAZING !!! She's not a server, but she should be. Her service was amazing!! I saw her at every single table, making sure everyone was taken care of. I saw my original server twice, but Jacky really made my experience great ! Thank you!!
A friend recommended it, & found it to be pretty authentic Mexican food. Prices decent $$. Staff were nice. It was busy. I ordered dinner to go- Chile Verde; a few grilled shrimp for breakfast. I n had chips, with beans n salsa on the house. Fresh brewed cafe. Ordered a small guacamole all under $60. I stepped outside to join colleagues in a meeting-nice ambiance outside, no margarita I was on the clock.
The service here is top-tier. Very kind individuals with nice smiles all around.
The food was terrific and came out immensely fast. The salsa is a bit lacking but it had some good heat to it.
While visiting family here, we decided to hit up this spot for lunch. I have mixed feelings about it.
Pros:
-Food had good flavour
-Waitstaff was friendly enough
-Big portions
-Accommodated a special request
Cons:
-Cramped space for our party of 8
-The menu doesn't fully disclose the correct pricing. Example: I was charged $18 for a burrito, but the menu said $13. I was charged $8 for a standard flour taco (no rice or beans on the side, but the menu price was $7.
-No complimentary refills on chips and salsa (is that a normal thing in CA?)
I think this is a more americanized mexican restaurant. I think I expected a bit more.
My wife and I had came here for the second time, we ordered the molcajete bowl with shrimp, steak and chicken also included 2 green onion and the sauce was absolutely delicious! Beans and rice was cooked well too each bit was memorizing. My wife and I will definitely get it all over again. If you are questioning it I'll make your decision easier, It's a MUST TRY!
