Not a happy customer. Had a rebuild done by them about three years ago, but previous noise returned. Supposedly guaranteed for five years. I tried contacting them for two days multiple times a day and nobody answered the phone. Finally I got a call back and I explained my situation but was told that the ownership had changed and they would not honor the warranty. I met with them and they agreed to give me a break on labor. I dropped the car off with a very explicit description of the issue I was having. Finally, on the fourth day, they called to say they couldn't figure out what might be wrong and to come pick up the car. I took it to another shop in Kirkland and they instantly diagnosed the problem from my description, fixed it in one day and gave me a very reasonable price.
Affordable rebuilt my transmission in my 2002 4x4 Ford Explorer. It was the same price as quoted, cheapest in town. I had issues 3 times. They took it in all 3 times no problem fixed the problem. Turned out my 4 wheel drive was causing all the issues which wasn’t there fault. They fixed all my issues and didn’t charge a dime. I recommend affordable 100%. They were inexpensive, courteous, and stood by their work. Made sure my trucks transmission worked properly.
Was having problems with my 2000 Monte Carlo. Just happen to be driving by this shop thought I would stop in. After being to a number of other shops to find my problem and no shop could and it cost me almost $200. This shop took time to go through my car and find the problem for free. After I told the problem I shopped around and found out for the price to fix the problem on my car at other shops. I could get a rebuilt Transmission from Affordable Transmission. I was thinking I was going be with out my car for a week to 2 weeks. Nope these guys had my car back to me in like 3 three days. And the best part working on my car they noticed another problem I was having that other shops I paid money to should of pointed out but didn't. Again I called around and they price plus part was half the price of other shops I call. The customer service is great the lady at the front desk will take the time to go get a mechanic if she don't have a answer. And if she says she going call you back she will do that as soon as she has a answer for you. Glad to have found a real shop that's into helping people and not ripping people off to make a profit.
Came to WA for vacation just last week, and my car began to jerk around. Unaware of what was wrong, I asked a friend if they know any mechanic shop. They recommended me to go to Affordable Transmissions. May i just say, i never regret going. It was the best experience I've ever had dealing with an automechanic shop. They accurately diagnosed the exact problem with my transmission in a timely manner, explained all my options and associated costs, and gave me their best recommendation.
Can't say enough good about them. Hard working guys, friendly staff, kept it simple, honest, great and affordable price, and quality work.

I have had my car for 4 years now. I've never really had any serious issues until March 2016. Long story short I needed my transmission fixed. The place I originally took it to gave me a quote that was over $4000 and about two weeks before it would be ready!!! My car sat a while as I looked around. My brother told me about Affordable Transmissions... I brought my car here and they quoted me almost $2300 dollars less then the last place! I thought I was a scam lol... I brought it in and had my car back in days! Running smoothly like I just drove it off the lot for the first time... Ever since then I've brought my car and everyone else's car that I know here for any repairs needed! They don't give you the run around and they are quick and long lasting repairs and did I mention AFFORDABLE!! I am very pleased! I highly recommend Affordable Transmission!!
If I could review this shop as a 0 Stars I would. I replaced a transmission back in 2017. The mechanic Failed to tighten a bolt back into the firewall. I have tried numerous times to get into contact with the business in order to have this resolved. But unfortunately the business is " under new ownership" which according to the state business ownership doesn't change until 7/31/2019. I would not recommend this business to anybody who needs transmission work. They are not detailed and definitely do not care to resolve any issues for their Customers. I have since Filled a complaint with the BBB, Consumer affairs. Looking into other options as well.!!!
I have taken my car here before and just like lat time they did a fabulous job. I spoke to the owner and he waited for me after hours to come get my car. His brother actually waited for me and jumped my car because the battery was dead. If you have any transmission problems I would call Affordable Transmissions first. Thank you for getting my car back on the road.
I went into thier shop to have a transmission issue diagnosed and the took 45 min to drive it around and came back and said I needed a full rebuild and that my rear end was completely toast. Which I thought fun as they tried to upsell me a rear end and I little suspect seeing is how I drove the vehicle to them on a supposed done rear end . Shop around and use them as a last resort
