Needed a 50k service for our RAV4 while driving through Durango. They fit us in on the spot and did a great job. Didn’t pressure us to buy anything we didn’t need, kept it simple and easy. Thanks again guys! Definitely recommend bringing your vehicle in.

We were traveling (as so many do here in this great area) and had some grinding breaks flare up on us. I called 5 places and they were all "we cant get to you for a week" - but Stones said "can you be here at 9:30 in the morning!" They inspected, didn't suggest things that weren't needed, did find a couple of broken stabilizer bars and repaired it all for less than the dealership had quoted me (including the stabilizer bars). Super friendly on the phone, positive and helpful. They even let me sit in the office for the 5 hours I had to wait.

I'm not one to write bad reviews, but I feel like i should warn potential clients.

I took my vehicle in to get the valve seals replaced. He recommended replacing the water pump at the same time. When i came to pick it up they had changed the oil and replaced the spark plugs (which we talked about doing as part of the needed service) however nothing else was done. After 30 minutes i talked the owner down to only charging me $320 ... for oil and plugs. When i left the engine was misfiring. I went less than a block and brought it right back. At this point i was told the engine needed to be completely replaced and they made absolutely no attempt to correct the misfiring issue, which was not present when i brought it in initially. The owner said he wasn't interested in fixing the issue, that they caused, but he would buy my vehicle for $3k!

...I'm not saying they intentionally caused a running issue in order to get me to sell my car for far less than it's value... but I can't say that wasn't their goal either. Either way i would recommend anyone who chooses to patrón Affordable Automotive to use extreme caution. At best they don't stand behind their work, and they may be intentionally dishonest looking for opportunities to take advantage of their clients. ...I fixed the problem after limping it home and 6 months later its still running strong.

The guys at Affordable Automotive (now Stones Garage) are the best! Thanks to Travis, Donovan, Anton, Fred and Zach, for well over a decade of care and service on my car! I fully recommend their mechanics and will continue to send my friends to Stones????????

Allie took time to listen to the issues I was having with my truck and relayed them to the mechanic. The electrical issues I've been dealing with for three months, with three different shops trying to figure it out, have been resolved!

And they were beyond fair with the amount of hours billed. I really appreciate the attention to detail and wish I had brought it to you earlier.

Had a wonderful experience at Stones Garage. The service was fast, reasonably priced, and the staff was very friendly. They sent an itemized quote for my 50k mile checkup and didn’t try to sell me on anything I didn’t need. As someone that’s been previously intimidated by auto-shops I was so pleased with my experience here. Would recommend to anyone

We were on the top of Coalbank Pass fully loaded with horse, hay, and trailer. The trailer brakes weren’t working, and the front truck brakes overheated. The guys at Stone’s Garage were able to talk us down the mountain. They were super accommodating with horse and trailer. There was grass and a place to walk the horse while the truck was worked on.

In the end, they were able to get us back on the road the same day. On top of everything, I received a teacher’s discount!!

Staff is great! Every single person I interacted with was kind, patient and helpful. They got me in after a pretty serious issue and taken care of in time to hit the road just a day and a half later when I needed to catch a flight out of Albuquerque. Prices are very fair! Highly recommend!
