If I had the chance to give no starts At all I would I would Not reccomend this guy at all
Very bad.. My car went off on monday 27/23 I called him and ask him if could bring the car to the shop I did i told him the car had power but woulnt turn the engine on it would sound like a vacum i thought it was the engine starter I took it to him he supposely did a diagnose and supposly the starter was no good he did the job and the car was not fixed then he called
me and said that something inside the engine was bad and had the odasity to do an oil change long story short i still ended up paying 790 had to tow the car to the dealer and he showed no remorse If your a mechanic for 20 years and have experienced you damn well know that the issue was not starter steve you know what u did it crazy i never took the chance to check the reviews because i though you was a good and honest mechanic but i was wrong reason why john left too and he warned me but i was dumb.. It crazy that you have to be the worst mechanic from the area
Not good business, my car needed a new alternator. He replaced it and charged me almost $700 for the job.the following day the alternator was not good. I was stuck in Long Island about an hour away, at 5am cause that's the time I get off of work.Towing company charged me $400 to get it towed back to the shop. And do you think he would feel any responsibility towards that. He couldn't even compensate with half of the bill after he knew it was the alternator. A job I paid alot for...And had the audacity to say he's not responsible for it because he didn't make the part. Smh how can you treat your customers like that!

I’ve been taking my vehicles to Affordable Auto Service for quite a while. They are very knowledgeable with all types of vehicles and have fixed all my problems no matter how complicated. The prices are the very best I’ve found as I could not find any mechanic shop that offer better prices. I highly recommend this mechanic shop for any job no matter how small or big.
went for insepction, they said the rear tint was a problem and asked for a bribe of $140 for it "not to be a problem". i called them out on it. he said "how much do you want to pay?" I said 37 i.e the state mandate. surprise #1 he failed my car #2 he didn't give me the required 10-day extension. i went down the street and car passed. these guys are horrible
These guys are scammers! I stopped here to get my car inspected they told me my car would not pass and said I must fix my car sensors and they would charge me $350.00 . Thankfully I knew better and decided to leave. I went to a honest NYS car inspector and my car passed with no problem . SHAME ON THEM!
