My girlfriend got hit in a parking lot right in her front wheel and it bent the wheel in and bent the Strut. We limped it over to this shop as it was the closest and couldn’t be happier. Got it fixed and back on the road by the time we got off work. And for less than half what I expected is to pay.
Efrem , the owner was referred to me by a Lyft driver I was using because my car was not working.He had said that he was treated well and fairly there.
Having no better ideas of where to take my car for repair,!I had it towed to Advanceq Auto. He put a Starter on for a better price, and while I waited-when other shops required an appointment a few days in the future.
I was so happy with the service that I went back when the alternator needed replacement, and had what I believed was a catastrophic engine issue on my the highway—towed to his shop where he showed me it was only a tire blowout after all. He did not charge me a thing and certainly a dishonest person would have said I had problems that weren’t real, just to take my money in my ignorance .
Anyway, I cannot say enough praise for this honest, skilled and business man with integrity! I am grateful I was pointed his way because an honest mechanic with an ignorant customer is hard to come by
Found two problems with a car that mean they legally could not sell the car until it had been fixed. Noticed that the vehicle had been in an accident while the mechanic told me previously "he didn't think so"- the damage was obvious. I don't know if he spent even 5 minutes inspecting the car but having missed all of that & more, I took my business elsewhere. I'm very happy with my new vehicle & grateful not to have fallen into this unsafe trap when they just want the car off of the lot, safety issues be damned.
They were very friendly and fast, replaced my alternator for less than a quick Google search had estimated, and refilled my power steering fluid for free.
However, one week later, my car broke down on the highway because it has absolutely NO oil in it. Even though i was not overdue on my oil change, it had totally burned through. I definitely feel like they should have noticed that when diagnosing my car, and it was very frustrating to have my car break down twice in two weeks!
