It’s fine. It’s really okay. My family enjoyed their plates more than I did. I was taken aback at sodas or tea priced at $3.50. It was fine but I left thinking, “eh”.
We've been really lucky lately when it comes to finding spots in a pinch that end up being everything we could have dreamed of and more. The atmosphere is fun and the service is outstanding. Then comes the food, wow! Tacos carnitas were out of this world. Crispy tortillas with juicy pork and a good spicy green sauce. My son got the garlic buttered shrimp and after rejecting his offer to try cause I wasn't in the mood, I ended wondering "wait, this is better than the carnitas!?!" SO MUCH FLAVOR! The Mrs got the mole and said it has a little kick and the flavor is a punch in the face. Chicken was tender and everything came out quick. Super grateful for the service and experience, definitely come and check it out! We may come back for their breakfast before our trip is up too!
Really enjoyed my visit here. Im from Texas, so our mexican food can be authentic or texmex. I love how New Mexico has its own style and flavor. I could really appreciate the smoky ancho flavors. The service was good despite only being 2 ladies when it was busy. I loved the carne asada burrito, and the salsa was pretty unique as well.
Nice relaxing vibe. The food was excellent, and the Michelada was perfect. Salsa was not that great. But great friendly service. I will come back again and again.
It's a great place. We're visiting from Phoenix and stopped in for dinner. We were seated right away, and the service was great. We ordered margaritas, and they were delivered quickly. Our food was hot and delicious. We'll definitely make this place a regular stop when we're in town.
We came to Santa Fe for an authentic New Mexican weekend - which always includes food - and this place did it. We ate large platters of delicious food. Chicken mole, shrimp enchiladas, and chile relleno in mushroom sauce. We are every last bite! The staff were friendly and helpful in explaining their menu. The place is spacious and can accommodate large groups. Try them out whenever you're on Santa Fe.
Disappointed, several years ago Adelitas was a fabulous environment and delicious food. Today we went as a family to enjoy a late lunch after my daughters dance performance. One of the waiter was friendly young man, but later what seemed to be the manager came to our table to take our order. We were originally going to order family style fajitas and barbacoa by the pound, he made a suggestion to get the parrillada instead. Very disappointed the meat was poor quality (chewy), and not what expected, was a soupy meat w lots of cheese and onion and tomato. When manager asked how was our food, we shared that it was not what expected and he seen that the food was not even eaten. Didn’t apologize or offer a small discount. Won’t return to Adelitas in Santa Fe, must have new owners and new menu, was not the same and as when first opened early 2000s.
Food was awesome! but.....was charged for 5 $15 tequila shots when only 3 were ordered... that was odd to the point that a request for staff to review cameras was suggested. wow! not extremely busy either. was given $30 refund, yes thats minus the tax I paid/they collected, call me petty but what the ...?? Food quality is why i will return, just more mindful when ordering.
