We love it. Very clean, food is great and a nice selection of beers. Pay this small town bar a visit. BTW ...the tenderloin is always spot on, the chicken wraps are very good and they always have great homemade fries. Unlike the other local pub in Mt Vernon. Last 2 times we have gone there, they have been out of fries. Frequent Addy's, skip the rest.
A pleasant experience and good food. I had the Philly Chees Steak with onion rings. The rings are some of the best I've had. Great portions and flavors. The meat in the cheese steak was a little dry but extra cheese would have solved that.
The cheese burger was well made and dressed and my friend said the home made chips were very good.
I'll stop back again for sure.
Fantastic small town restaurant atmosphere, even better food. The tenderloin is one of the very best in the Greater Cedar Rapids area and the best outside of CR.
Edit : 8-27-2020 the tenderloin is now pounded out too thin and makes the tenderloin dry and chewey. Will try again and see if it was a one off (2 tenderloins ordered both thin).

Great home town cooking with a twist of special. Mufflatta sandwich was delish. Home made fries to perfection. Onion straws the best I have had.quick service, friendly, nice selection of drinks and ????.
Food was good (once we finally got it) but service was incredibly slow. Only one person to tend the bar AND wait tables. She was pleasant enough but really needed some help.
Nice place had the Shrimp dinner and it was delicious. It's a good place to have a drink and chill. ????
