Authentic Ethiopian food right here, from the vegetarian Sambusa, a vegetarian plate to a combination meat plate. Everything was delicious with perfect spices! I had friends that were Ethiopian with me that taught me how to eat properly. Always eat with your right hand. This establishment was authentic and clean. Our server was friendly as well.
We visited this restaurant for the first time about a few weeks ago. When we first walked in, it seemed we disturbed the cook/waitress who were eating at a table. No matter, we were thrilled they were eating their own food, so we didn’t mind that they were a bit slow in seating us. After we were seated, the waitress resumed eating with cook. We didn’t mind because they looked like they were enjoying their own food and it gave us an idea of what our food would look like. After a few hunger stares from us to them, the waitress took our order. We ordered one chicken dish, which sits on a spongy bread in a big pan with spicy delicious orange sauce. The chicken is so well done that it just falls off the bone. The dishes are meant to be shared. Also, you use your hands, no utensils needed. We finished mostly all of it and took home a bit.
It’s definitely a place we’d try again!
I’ve been coming here for years. I love Ethiopian cuisine. The portions are great, and everything is fresh and made to order. Today I ordered the lamb tibs with cabbage, carrots, and a salad.
Excellent authentic Ethiopian food. Very friendly staff. Very not white. Get the feast - you can’t go wrong, it’s all delish.
Popped in pretty late here, as it has a bar, and they were nice enough to still serve food. We got the veggie combo. Everything was tasty, especially liked the yemisir wat and the gomen wat. Service was fast even as late as we got there and everyone was very helpful and friendly.
We got three different combination plates and it over fed 8 people. You eat with your hands. Our table’s favorite was the lentils. I’ve never tried Ethiopian food , so it was fun to try something different. Not everyone enjoyed it but I liked it.
Tastes good, but very small portions. They were out of samosas and African beer.
Food is amazing!! Love their Hospitality . We went for dine in and is quit for a weekend afternoon. Service is so good. Need little maintenance for restrooms that all! Over all a very nice experience ????
