Loved it. I've been looking for a place that makes me feel like I'm back home. It seemed most all of the customers knew each other, and John made conversation with them, and me.
Pastrami and egg pita was good! Hashbrowns were cooked well and could easily be covered with lots of ketchup because of the pump dispenser.
Gyro had lots of meat and the meat is tasty. The taziki sauce was plenty but it wasn't strong tasting. Missing some dill and cucumber taste
Food was nice and fresh which is a big plus! Craft soda collection is by far one of the best I've seen in jax :) Service was good a little slow to ring you up but that is the only negative with customer service. My only concern is how cluttered it is behind the service counter. Looks like most of the things haven't been used in ages! If they tidied up a bit it'll look great!
Im delited and extremely surprised by this place. The sandwich was exceptional and the menu has a great deal of variety. The staff really seems to care about the quality of the food, drinks, and sauces. I will certainly return to this place to try more options and enjoy the character of the restaurant.
Went to this little sandwich shop as a kid and came back as an adult to find the same charm and delicious food they used to have. Definitely a better stop in the morning than any corporate slop.
This is a small old-school sandwich shop and it is wonderful. Massive amounts of old school drinks, cherry limeade, and hot sauces. From breakfast to cold and hot sandwiches, this place is great. It is a small operation, so please be patient.....Had the pastrami yesterday, and it was fantastic
I don't know if it's good. Waited 20 minutes for a sandwich. That I never got. Not a good place if you've got to get back to work.
$25 and change ($3 tip included) for 2 Chicken Melts on regular loaf bread (which was unexpected), 1 order of fries, and 2 drinks. Service was slow, the place needs a cleaning, food was good, quantity was bad, and overpriced.
