Best KPortal Reviews

We booked a table (as required, as some days they don't cater for walk ins) for two and were originally placed by the entrance. We did ask to be moved as it was a cold windy evening and this was catered for, further inside the restaurant.
Service was excellent, very attentive staff and our food was delicious, all three courses we treated ourselves to ????
As it's only recently opened, support this local eatery, especially over the coming winter months!
Some of the best food we have had, hands down. We were delightfully surprised at the impeccable quality of each meal we had. The souffle and Cullen skink were to die for, and it kept getting better with the crab linguine and lamb shoulder. The quality didn't stop there. The desserts we had were beautifully presented with flavours to match. Not to be missed if spending some time in Stormness.
Smoked haddock chowder was rich and delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was wonderful! Staff was very attentive and welcoming. Great wine list!
Really good food in a pleasant sunny space, just steps from the ferry terminal. Good selection of Orkney beers, plus a good wine list.
Family birthday. Had a lovely meal. That we were all happy with. Food was excellent the service was very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
So glad we found this place - ate there twice during our week's stay in Orkney.
Lovely staff - very welcoming and friendly.
Delicious food! Mussels were amazing and the rump steak dish was divine!
I'm reliably informed that the risotto was also lovely. Great price points and selection of both food and drinks.
Last but not least - don't miss the lemon tart!
Wish we stayed closer!
Top tip - book in advance.
Only negative point (not worth losing a star over though)- the tables at the door were quite chilly.
We were recommended this place by a deli along the road and the food was nice. Opted for burgers and crab linguine the only hitch was desserts were on the menu as £6. Sticky toffee or lemon meringue pie. The latter had run out so we were offered creme brulee. To my surprise they were priced as £7 and £8 when the bill came. Maybe the menu was out of date?
So delighted to find this Restaurant in Stromness whilst on our travels. It was very busy at lunch time but got lucky as the lovely waitress found us a table. The food was amazing, all freshly cooked and beautifully presented. I had the Chowder and my other half the Cheddar Souffle, both were delicious. To follow was monkfish scampi in a Taco and Sirloin Steak cooked to perfection. We were too full to have a dessert but finished with a very good coffee. The waiting staff were very welcoming and attentive. All in all we had a memorable experience and will be highly recommending this gem of a place. We will be back!!
