Dave's been here for years. Here's the reason this man's shop is so successful. Straight up he's a honest guy. Not big on conversation, but the man knows what the hell he's doing. He's very fair with his prices. He's ready to help you out any way he can. He's actually a very nice guy. Him & his son are always busy at the shop. They don't make you wait forever for you bike. And when you do get it back. You can bet it's done right ! I wouldn't take my bike anywhere else..
I've been dealing with Dave of Action Cycles in Fall River for 6 years. He is an honest business owner and will not try to sell you anything you don't need unlike some of the other bike dealers.
He is very fair with his pricing and does not charge you an exorbitant hourly rate like the big name dealers.
He does only work on metrics and (British or other) bikes.. So if you have a HD.. i believe you're out of luck.
Never had any issues with him and he's never exhibited a "bad attitude" with me as stated by a couple other reviewers.. but he is frank and to the point when asked a question.
I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for an honest and reasonably prices motorcycle mechanic!
Honest guy , good prices. I have seen some comments about him being rude, is not at all he is a quiet person he will answer quick ur questions but not much more I have been going there for 3 years now and he still doesn't talk much lol, but I respect that. Important to me is get a good price and a job well done, and I get that every time.
Dave is a no nonsense kind of guy, not particularly chatty and I guess some other reviewers are put off by that, but he does good work at something like half the price of anybody so I’ll deal with the fact that he’s not a morning talk show host.
I needed Action Cycles phone number (for hours). Searched goggle and found the previous review stating the mechanic had a bad attitude. I couldn't belief someone thought this because I have had my motorcycle inspected here for a while and never thought this of him. I was prepared to come back home and defend him with a good review after my visit. Well I found that the mechanic does have a new bad attitude, I left his lot pretty mad. Not for anything he did mechanically, but for having a disrespectful attitude. I'll take my money somewhere else, admittedly all I need from a mechanic is an inspection sticker.
