Best KPortal Reviews

We loved the place. The owner and manager talked to us and was very nice. He could tell we were from out of town just by our accent. Lol. He made us feel right at home. His salsa is the bomb.
The food has always been great when I come here. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Great family atmosphere, and I would recommend to anyone looking for a great meal.
Don't blink or you will miss this place driving by. Eclectic joint with a ton of stuff on the walls, 100 yr old would floors and oozing with charm. Very friendly wait staff. Good home cooked food.
Food was served in a timely manner. Music was provided by a guitarist and was a good background for the evening. The waitress was very polite and professional.
My daughter, two youngest grandsons, & I really enjoyed ourselves yesterday &, my only living sibling and I go to Across the Borders often.
We went to Emporia this week but, came back to Across The Borders in Burlington to eat.
I've been eating here for years, the food is great, the service spot on and it's a fun place to be.
Great food and service. Visiting the area for work and had dinner here both nights. Wide selection, quality food, with exceptional service.
I just moved to New Strawn tonight pretty much sight unseen. I realized very quickly it's almost a ghost town. I stopped in here for dinner and was blown away by the rustic 110 year old building. My wife and I had a great meal and it cost about $40 for a dinner we're accustomed to paying $140 for. Needless to say this is our new go to on the weekends!
