Gabe did a fantastic job providing a very inviting environment and so did Jose. They did matching tattoos and allowed multiple of us to be right there with them watching and they were both so friendly, conversational, and not once made you feel uncomfortable. The view from the shop was unbeatable as well. They both love their tattoos and as their guest- I was very happy with the experience in the shop. I am not one to give reviews, especially good ones, but these two really deserve it from the moment they greeted all of us at the door steps. Since from Missouri- this is my for sure way to say my kudos for a job well done. Thank you again! Go see Gabe and Jose!
I got 2 tattoos here like 25 years ago. Pretty faded but I still love them. Then I just gone one day last Saturday. So good! Exceptionally good line work
You need a tattoo while cruising around OB? Stop in here! The place is super clean and they make sure to keep everything sterilized and sanitary. Great guys with great attitudes. Laid back and ready to get to work.
I’ve known for years I wanted the OB logo, and on this trip, I had time to make it a reality. I didn’t have an appointment, but after a quick convo, Jose was down to work. He set everything up while I got cash at a nearby ATM. Jose was patient and courteous, placing and re-placing the design until I was happy with the placement. He worked expertly and quickly, and his work healed perfectly. My new OB logo is now one of my favorites, and should I come back to OB in the future, I very well may hit up Jose for more work. 10/10 would recommend.
As a couple on vacation that wanted a spontaneous tattoo, Gabe helped us out. Professional, fast & gave us a few recommendations on where to visit.

Great little tattoo shop with a view of the ocean! It's been on Ocean Beach for over thirty years! Our artists were talented, friendly and had excellent advice. A true San Diego tradition and a great place to commemorate a California trip.
My wife and I were in OB on our honeymoon and wanted a tattoo to remember the trip by. We were walking ins and Kyle greeted us, and helped us clean up our design idea. He was our artist as well. The shop is super clean and we've already gotten several compliments on our pieces. Thanks Kyle and Ace for helping us preserve this memory.
