If i could put a minus rating I would!
We had our car booked in here for a leaking radiator in January, took the car down and they decided to move the car to the pub car park across the road and leave it there for 5 DAYS (I have dashcam footage with date stamps as proof) in freezing temperatures. Before taking the car there, it was running as smooth as a nut, no juddering or noise, nothing. When the car was started to move it back over the road, the car sounded like a dog's dinner!! They then didn't even look at the radiator but instead replaced the water pump, the radiator was still leaking! They then, without our permission, took the head off and took the spark plugs out, and we were told there was a head gasket problem. The guys attitude was absolutely disgusting, looking my husband in the eye and saying 'its scrap', he was rude and arrogant. At this point we had the car not even 10 months. We decided to take the car from there because they was asking too much for a head gasket replacement, they refused to put the car back together, leaving the cylinders exposed, again still in freezing temperatures. We then had the car taken to Vauxhall in Newport. They told us the car needs a new engine because the cylinders are corroded. When we asked why they have corroded, they told us because this garage didn't put the engine back together, with the fluids already in there and the freezing temperatures, that made cylinders corrode. What started as a radiator leak, has resulted in us needing to pay £9,500 for a new engine, all because this garage wouldn't put the engine back together!! They should have returned the car in the condition they recieved it in!!
Don't take your car to this garage, because you may not end up with one in the end.
Spoke to the garage before hand and they were very helpful. Recently moved to the area so it's great to know our cars are in good hands with this garage. Reasonable prices and great customer service ????
Fantastic service. I have been using Ace Performance Cars for years, you will not get service like these else where. Being a girl I don’t understand anything to do with cars and they explain it all thoroughly and clearly for me, as well as keeping me up to date. Fab prices, trustworthy, always welcoming and handsome staff too! Overall exceptional customer service.
What can I say a fantastic service , first class from the time I dropped my car off to the time I picked it up, kept me informed on how the work was going and checked that I was happy to go ahead with repair. Car came back fault free and I also asked could they service it while it was in and couldnt believe how good the price was compared to other quotes.
Wont be taking my car anywhere else in future.
Great customer service. Done all my 4 tyres in an hour. My wing mirror got hit and on the same day it was done. The boys are all lovely, polite and very hardworking. Definitely recommend this garage.
Have been using this garage for as long as they’ve been at these premises (I was actually a customer at their old premises too!). They have been servicing all of our cars for years now and we’ve never had a problem. Always a prompt and courteous service and WAY cheaper than going to a main dealer! Would heartily recommend them!
Fantastic customer service. Really couldn’t do enough for me. Collected my car from work, serviced it including a wash and vac. Then delivered back. Stress free I will definitely use these guys again and would highly recommend.
