Tiny Mexican spot along Wyoming. Easy to miss, but I've always seen it and wanted to stop in. I went by on a Saturday morning, no one else was there. You order at a counter and the lady was nice. I got 2 breakfast burritos for my son and I. There aren't many tables and it has a VERY retro vibe. But it was clean and we took a small 2 person table.
The food was ready at the counter pretty quick. Burritos were wrapped in foil on a tray. They were tasty enough, though not exceptional. They didn't hold together well, you could definitely not eat these in the car. The red chili sauce was only ok, and dominated the flavor. The eggs were a little stingy.
There was a lot of other stuff on the menu so I'd be willing to try something non breakfast. If you're feeling adventurous, check it out! The breakfast burrito might not be the killer item though.
The other day, I walked in and ordered a dozen Tamales from this place. (It was my very first time I’ve ever ordered or eaten anything from this place.)
The flavor of the tamales are very good & tasty but they need to add more meat. It was mostly made of Masa and red chili flavor.
I will go back as a regular customer if I get a reply from them letting me know that they WILL add more meat.
I know they are capable of making it 100% better.
Chicharron burrito with red was very good. Won't forget the Tamales are even better, fresh good taste. Went back and bought another 2 dozens.
Stopped by here for a quick lunch while making deliveries. I ordered four tacos. Lady was super nice and I got my tacos quick as well. The only thing I recommend is eating them in the restaurant when they are fresh. I took mine to go and when I ate them 10 minutes later, the bottoms of the shells disintegrated and all the filling fell out of the bottom. Besides that one little hiccup, they were decent tacos for a reasonable price.
Best food ever, I recommend to all my friends and family, very delicious and authentic red chile, reminds me of eating at Grandmas house, i eat there once a week
Food was fantastic, just like the location I grew up by on San Mateo and Southern. Puerto Vallerta special is our go to menu item. The chicharron burrito was fantastic as well. Small area to eat inside. They accomodated our daughter's gluten free request with no issues. Very nice service, which we have come to expect. You won't be disappointed, this is top notch local NM food.
10/10 breakfast burrito. Far better than any chain..
oh my gosh. So good! The guac on the nachos was the most delightful surprise too, it was so good!!! Will be eating here lots
