Best KPortal Reviews
I recommend getting the aca plate with just asado ($17). Pork belly was not that good, and the chorizo was just okay, but the asado was really good. The chimichurri was amazing and I recommend buying more! This place is a cozy, humble, family owned restaurant. There’s okay parking in the lot.
I love this place.
The asado beef is so good. I get the combo w beef chorizo and pork belly rice and beans w a small side of corn and veggies ????staff is always friendly and care about their ppl.
Delicious Argentinian style BBQ. I got the mixed plate No. 2 which has more meat than mixed plate No. 1. The plate comes with Asado, Pork Belly and Chorizo plus rice, beans, corn and salad. This will definitely fill you up. Nice cozy location in Korea Town. Give it a try the next time you're in the area.
We got food for a group of 15 delivered, including the family packs, large Paella, empanadas, etc. and it was fantastic! Beef was super tender and delicious, sausage and pork belly were good. Paella was great too. It's not cheap but the quality is worth the price.
As a tourist (Queens, NY represent), I'm always on the prowl for the best eats in town. I'm not referring to over-hyped "Instagram-worthy" spots - I'm talking about mouth-watering hole-in-the-wall spots with slightly sticky checkered picnic tablecloth and an overwhelming amount of plastic utensils at the counter.
When a trusted food advisor described Aca Grill as a bomb Argentinian BBQ spot owned by Koreans (that's my people), I knew I had to give it a shot. I ordered 'Aca Plate No. 1', which comes with melt-in-your-mouth asado, smoky chorizo, perfectly crunchy pork belly, rice, salad, & beans. Basically everything perfect in this life. I need more.
What makes or breaks a dining experience for me is the hospitality. Knowing I was a first-timer (staring at the menu for 10+ minutes must've given off that vibe), the owner treated me like royalty. What do I mean by that? She made genuine conversation with me while packing me an empanada & cheese ball on the house - I consider this royalty. Jokes aside, I'm convinced she is the sweetest person on this planet. I'm all about supporting delicious small businesses that are intentional with building relationships with their community - that's what builds customer loyalty. When I'm back in LA, my first stop will not be In-N-Out *dramatic pause* - it'll be Aca Grill. There's also a 100% chance I'll be back tomorrow before my flight.
Food is good, little expensive. I had a lunch plate that was only meat (few pieces) and salad, the other plate was meat, pork belly and chorizo, one perrier water and one soda $45..I think you can choose all you can eat in this area for the same money.
The food was delicious! You should definitely give this place a try. The prices are also reasonable.
Just recently introduced to this spot and I can't get enough of it. The quality of the food is consistent and the portions are large, making the price reasonable. The #1 is plenty of food with 3 kinds of meat, rice, beans, salad, and corn. The first time I went there, I was greedy and ordered the #2, but wasn't able to finish it. The empanadas are good too. Great spot for meat if you're in for a quick meal and/or want a change up from the usual Korean BBQ dominating the area.
