Best KPortal Reviews
My family and I are regulars here. I love the breakfasts and the lunches. They also do lots of things for gluten free. Which makes it much better for me. Love salad cart too. Prices are reasonable and staff friendly. Jill Barnes
I have been here a few times and I have not been disappointed with anything I have been served here. There is a wide selection on the menu and I highly recommend the sirloin steak. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to whatever you may need. The only thing I can possibly say about this place that is not positive is that there is no air conditioning and it gets very hot inside. Other than that I have always been pleased to come here for a meal.
This has to be one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had!
This restaurant has gone from one of the best I've been in to the worst. My friends and myself have just left the restaurant and to be honest it was so bad it was funny, first off the waitress didn't know what lager they had and we ended up being served alcohol free Becks, when we pointed this out she said she had some Peroni out back which ended up being gluten free. The food was appalling as was the service and lots of the menu was unavailable in the end they agreed to take everything off the bill if we paid for the beers. We were told by one of the staff the restaurant was in the process of being sold.
Well all I can say is good luck retaining your clientele.
Enjoyed lunch. Mussels served in a creamy sauce with 2 fresh rolls to soak up the sauce as a starter. Main was half chicken, ribs, new potatoes and corn on the cob. Plentiful salad bar. Very reasonable prices pleasant staff.
Went here for the first time today (been meaning to go for some time). Had breakfast, all you can eat full English and continental and all you can drink juices and coffee all for £8.99. Bargain! Great value for money, great food, fantastic atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, looking forward to returning!
There is a huge sign on the wall: 'FISH'. The problem is they don't sell it anymore neither were they able to offer anything out of the ordinary for our vegetarian grandsons. They were left with a meal consisting of a baked potato, fries, corn on the cob and peas - hardly imaginative. My wife and I ordered well cooked chicken, fries and corn - very good but somewhat small portions.
Absolutely amazing value for money, got a huge half a chicken, sweet corn and massive portion of chips for just £10! Couldn't recommend a better place to go and eat. 5 stars is an understatement
The new owners are friendly and try hard to please their customers. The food is very good although I was a little disappointed that the salad bar had not been continued from the previous owners.
We will certainly be visiting this restaurant again in the near future
