Take away coffee was terrible. If you can't make a flat white properly don't put it on the menu. Far too hot, not strong enough and no micro foam. Looked like a weak tea. Very disappointing.
Returning from an early appointment in Edinburgh and stumbled on this great place. Had a breakfast roll each and cup of coffee. Both were delicious and served quickly. Very quirky interior. Loved it!
Having read the rave reviews, I planned a walk which would take in Abingers at around the half way mark, where I would call in for a takeaway salad box. This would be my first ever visit.
I called in at 2.40pm on a weekday to be told that they were "closed". When I said I wasn't wanting anything hot, only a salad box, I was told that even that was unavailable as they "had nothing left, no coleslaw, nothing".
As there were no other eateries in the vicinity, I had to walk around 1.5 miles to Davidson Mains (which hadn't been on my itinerary!) to get something to eat.
Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend. Fell at the first hurdle.
Went here for a breakfast roll was changed £3.00 thaught that was dear until I opened my roll got 4 rashers of bacon well worth it

Great coffee. Lovely choice of filled rolls and hot options. Tasty soup. Friendly staff and the best homemade cakes in town - Delicious!! Lovely place in general to go for breakfast or lunch and definitely the best in the area. Highly recommend :)
Homemade salad box to order. Good quality and friendly staff.
Fab local cafe offering tasty paninis and freshly made salad boxes with balsamic dressing. Chutneys, a vast array of cakes and biscuits available to take away and reasonably priced tea and coffee. There are a handful of tables if you want to sit in, but no loos. Brilliant wee place if you're wanting a tasty fresh sarnie!
