Great little Deli with a good selection of filled baguettes and some pastries. Hoy Scotch Egg was delicious. Great place to pick up some supplies for taking to the beach. The also have coffees available.
So often these days the food we get from eateries promise so much but deliver a certain level of disappointment.
Well, the food we got from Abersoch Deli does NOT disappoint. We shared a pastie, a tuna baton and a coffee and there was not one bit of disappointment. A rarity in this day and age. It was tasty and fresh and not one bit was left.
Also, I must say the service was polite and pleasant. Something else which is lacking in many establishments today.
The only downside was the cost of the cakes. A bit too expensive really. Never mind, saves my waistline a little. :-)
Great selection of generously filled baguettes. Tried Bree & Bacon and Prawn baguettes, both very good.
A little gem of a shop in Abersoch. A lovely range of fresh sandwiches, sweet and savoury snacks. All served by very friendly staff who definitely engaged with my 6 year old boy and ensured he was catered for. Will definitely be back here again.
After having many sandwiches from here over the years, We returned last week to get our usual sandwich , I asked if the sandwich was still dairy free as I have a allergy, making sure not changed suppliers etc re ingredients. The girl serving was very abrupt as said non of the sandwiches are dairy free as all the bread now has milk.!
Not sure if this was correct or she just lacked knowledge. Perhaps if labels were put in front of the sandwiches with allergens present this would be helpful to people who suffer from allergy to certain food products.
Ordered 3 coffees here (which are delicious) however one got missed off the order - staff are lovely & kindly gave us a flapjack along side the coffee. Fair prices too!
I went in this afternoon and asked for a plain ham baguette. The woman (I think she was the manager) said “we can’t do that because it’s not how we operate”. I then replied “you did one for me last time”. She then said “it depends on how busy it is”. I was the only customer in the shop so I said “but I’m the only person in here”. The woman then got aggressive with me and said “would you like to come in here and do it yourself I have told you why I’m not arguing with you. These poor girls have been here since 08:30. What have you done today?”. (It was 14:30 at the time) I then replied “I’ve drove down here today I’m not arguing with you I’m just having a conversation”. She was then threatened me saying I wouldn’t be served again so I asked for my money back and left. This is a real shame because I have always like going to the Abersoch deli as the baguettes have always been lovely. I will not be going again- a plain ham baguette is not a big ask and I do not appreciate how the woman in there spoke to me.
Great selection of fresh snacks and sandwiches. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had soup with baguette, pasty and drinks followed by cake. Only negative is the cake we had contained palm oil. Table outside by the bin wasn't great but not much can be done about that other tables were taken.
