Have visited here a few times now over the years and it’s always absolutely amazing. The food, regardless of what you have, is so full of flavour and cooked to perfection.
The guy who owns it is also a lovely friendly guy. We stopped and had a chat with him whilst eating our sausage and bacon baps with a proper mug of tea.
If I could give it more than 5 stars this would be worthy of every single one.
Possibly the best roadside burger I've had in 23 years of travelling around the UK.
I opted for the bacon cheeseburger and it was spot on.
It was great to find a proper handmade burger, cooked from fresh before you. It had the perfect amount of salad, proper cheese and perfectly cooked bacon and just a drizzle of burger sauce sandwiched together in a soft yet firm bun.
Very reasonably priced too, in fact it was that good I had to have a second!
Popped by today for a bite to eat and always get recommended to try the food from here. All I can say really is “wow”. The cheese and bacon burger was probably one of, if not the best burger I’ve had. Will definitely be back again when I pass and have time

Food here is great from the homemade burger to breakfast bap but also comes with a good bit of banter that you'd expect from a traditional stop like this.
Had a bacon burger. It was my first layby food stop. And he set the bar very high. I've been craving it ever since
