Amazing experience, start to finish! Felt very safe as a female driver who knows nothing about cars and has always been frightened of being ripped off, felt at ease from the first phone call! MOT was done so quickly. Very polite and kind! Advised of work that needs to be done in the near future, no pressure at all! Very respectful. Took car in for MOT. They told me car was scrap. It needed new rack and pinion and other bits done. Went to another garage to check, they said rack and pinion was fine. MOT only cost £230 in total. Avoid this place like the plague.
Could not recommend highly enough. I know nothing about cars but I knew I was in good hands. So nice to deal with experts who are also really decent people. My car had some issues that were clearly explained. I was give options I understood. They know what they're doing and they do it well.
Had a leaking water pump change on a Toyota Yaris. Work was completed in 3 days with several water pumps supplied, but the suppliers would bend the gaskets in half and John refused to use them so had to go and pick one up from Toyota himself begging for them to just sell him the gasket. Great Knowledge of the motor trade and a great fitter goes above and beyond would highly recommend.
Been taking my veichles to John at A1 for years. A true honest profesional that is always up to date with his industries ever changing regulations and procedures. A genuinely nice guy that always puts the customer first. Would have, as done in the past to friends and family highly recommend.
