Best KPortal Reviews
We have just had the most beautiful and tasty salad and baguette from this lovely little sandwich shop. The owner has mad all the salads herself and explained how they were made and the best combinations to have. If you are in Rye definitely go here, you won’t regret it.
I can’t say enough good things about this lovely little place. The owner is so friendly and always smiling. She puts such a lot of effort into creating the tastiest food. It’s always fresh, homemade and full of flavour, yet still well priced. My favourite lunch treat!
Outstanding salads and sandwiches and great coffee. The lady who runs this is an amazing cook. Everything homemade.
I was visiting rye for an osteopath appointment and was recommended A slice of Rye by practitioner.
The salad box was out of this world with homemade beans and potato salad, but the thing that drove me to wanting to leave a review was that the lovely shopkeeper changed my opinion of Tofu, with her homemade tofu which tasted unreal and would choose to have it again. She allowed me to try it after I said I wasn’t keen and I’m so glad she gave me the opportunity to change my mind.
The salad box filled me up and I’ve even saved what I had left over for my tea, and my partner who tried some said he’d travel to rye just for the salad!
Thank you :).
Such lovely service, good vibes, great food and value for money, today I had the chicken burrito which came with a side salad, potatoes, and summer slaw really yummy!
I love the curried tofu pieces too.
Awful sandwich with a disgusting amount of mayoinase. Avoid at all costs. And expensive. Actually quite disgusting.
Had a fabulous mixed salad box that was enough for two. Lovely mix of stuff with some nicely different additions to the usual. Proprietor was also very lovely!
Wonderful little shop with great coffee and freshly made food.
