I moved away from Ards for a while & had to find somewhere else to go for car services, but since being back down this neck of the woods, went back to A&J and they did not disappoint - they don’t get the arm in, and are just decent blokes who seem to play an honest game, which can be hard to find in the car industry, would def recommend ????

Have been taking my car to A&J motors now for years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The guys are great and you know that when you leave your car down that you aren't going to sit all day waiting for a call that it's ready. They are very efficient and honest which is rare and they don't overcharge like lots of other mechanics. Have recommended them to many of my friends. They are a small business which works in the customers favour and would highly recommend.

Always friendly & happy to look at car 1st & repair car after they tell you what is needed always resonably priced & great value. Even tell u what may be needed for future mot

I had oil change and clutch replacement from A&J two weeks ago.(A friend recommended)

They don't drain old oil completely while draining they close the drain with nut to save time. I have purchased 4 litre castrol oil, 3.3L required for my car Johny poured whole oil in to the engine and drained 700 ml wasted from engine ,I don't know why he did that .

They replaced clucth and after that gear shifting became too hard, I complained about the problem ,they said all good .I found driving the car became too difficult, Johny and Allen blamed clutch kit was of poor quality ,(LUK clutch kit is one of the best in UK market .)

I drove my car to Belfast city showed to Nelson and he found the problem ,clutch slave cylinder replaced and the problem solved .

In my experience A&J is poor service quality .

Decent mechanics that don't charge the earth

I had brakes done and my partner had brakes and discs done absolutely fantastic job both times quick and efficient and very professional plus couldn't meet 2 nicer fellas will definitely be back
