I've went to A&A a few times and have never been disappointed. The last 2 times, I ordered BBQ boneless wings and they were so good! I was able to savor some for leftovers the next day. The most recent order was even better than the last! The staff are great too! So nice and want to make sure you are happy with your order. Recommended for breakfast and lunch/dinner!
The food was bland and over cooked. Bit the waitress was wonderful.
It's a diner and you'll get exactly what you'd expect. Breakfast foods or lunch/dinner. We got the chicken fried steak, and the Sheppards pie with sides. The floors were dirty and the seats were ripped in the booth we sat in. You can tell it's a spot for the regulars.
The Sheppards pie was poorly put together and lacked flavor. The chicken fried steak was way over cooked and barely edible. The okra was over cooked as well.
The baked beans were good, with a nice flavor.
Ok I give this five stars because it's not the greatest restaurant it's not the cleanest it's not even the most unique. I give it five stars because we walked in sat down they said hello how you doing very personable the waitress told her told us her name. Told us what the specials were especially the lima beans I had spaghetti with meat sauce and Parmesan chicken my wife had fried shrimp it came out lightning fast lightning hot the food was delicious everybody in the restaurant was talking you could hear how happy everybody was the day before Thanksgiving.
Horrible service. Server forgot about us more than once. Food took forever and we also waited for 10-15 min before even being told to seat ourselves. The plump pork chops "famous" were thin and nothing but gristle. The chicken was good but a bit over done. Unfortunately we will probably not be going back. Wanted to get treated a bit due to working all day and not wanting to go grocery shopping and then coming home to cook however it would have been much quicker if we had have done just that.
Canned mushrooms in the omelette. Onions in the omelette were still crunchy. Asked for the omelette to be done "soft" & it had lots of brown on it, so definitely overcooked and not "soft". Home fries were amazing! Service was great and overall prices are reasonable.
Decent patty melt and best sweet tea around! Didn’t catch her name, but the server who took my order was really nice, as was all the staff.
Waitresses were on it regardless of how busy it was during lunch hours. I hope they get paid good for what they do. One of the best first time experiences I had. Had my food out in a very timely manner and was not sloppy at all. Overall would definitely go back there to try other food items.
Third time we've been here both time before. We're okay. This time had an omelette. It was so burnt. Couldn't eat it. The vegetables in it were raw and the biscuits were very old. Very disappointing. Maybe just an off day
