Update 6/16/18 - Still love Sake2U! We went back on a date and had excellent service. Our server was attentive and the bus boys made sure that our empty plates were promptly removed and our water glasses were full. One of our favorite spots to hang out on the river.
July 2017 - Great, easy going, laid back, family friendly atmosphere. Love that they have seating right on the river. Food was delicious, reasonably priced (by Steamboat standards) & service was great. Our server came over immediately with ice water for everyone.
This place is delicious AND has a gorgeous view of the water!!! We had the gyoza and duck egg rolls appetizers, which were amazing! Followed by the king oyster tempura, which came as a larger portion than expected and was wonderful. We finished off with a bang, having the steak fried rice and Asian Ribs which were to die for! Highly recommend the saki, which there are several flavor options. The cold cucumber saki is light and refreshing while the cold coconut saki is very fruity and rich, so find your flavor. Next visit we will try the sushi, can't wait!!!
I live in a rural area, so when my husband and I get to dine out for sushi we come hungry and with high expectations. From start to finish the meal was incredible. I couldn't believe my 2yr old ate an entire philly roll! The restaurant was busy, including our server. That being said she was spot on from beginning to end. I enjoyed dining here alongside the river and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Great place. Foods great wait staff is great. Have an area for dogs. Definitely come back. Happy hour has a very good selection.
Excellent sushi, well portioned, well prepared. A little pricey so come during happy hour for some good specials, we really loved the unagi, hamachi, and las vegas roll.
Okay so hear me out. We got seated super quickly. Which was nice, I thought this was a Japanese restaurant but there really didn’t have any Japanese food on the menu. Whatever, okay. I managed to have this amazing mushroom Swiss burger. My friend also got his burger on time. But like, his girlfriend we waited for 45 minutes for her to get her coconut shrimp. :(
Food was great though! Thanks guys, I’d definitely come here again. The restaurant was super clean and we got to at right next to the river. The staff was friendly too!
Really really enjoyed sitting on the balcony by the river, the location is awesome. The service was pleasant, it felt very paced, they weren't trying to rush around, we had a great server. Our sushi and drinks were good, nothing crazy. Go during the happy hour, 4 drinks, 3 rolls of sushi, and a tip for $40.
Go for the view and the river, the drinks and food is good enough to really enjoy your time.
