Staff were friendly. They were helpful
The buffet was nice
We use to absolutely love coming here as a rare day out just me and the better other half. However after today I don't think this will be our spot no more. So I'll start with the positives. Staff have always been friendly and great service taking away plates greeting and leaving. The areas are always tidy and well kept and usually a lovely atmosphere. However now the negatives. Prices have now gone up again now I'm not complaining at thats as I understand thats what they need to do but to now not letting kids bring in there own squash or any outside drinks will be an inconvenience and even more pricey. Also the food is no where near the standard it use to be I found it quite dry and the sauce not so flavour and taking away things from the menu that use to be on there is also a disappointment. So this is why I have rated as so.
You have to pay first, which is a big red flag. After you pay they tell you that you can only be there for 1 hour. We went for lunch and got there only a short while after opening and the food was dry and had signs that it had been kept warm for rather a long time. A few tables were not happy but just got smarmy looks from staff upon mentioning something. We ate about 2 mouthfuls each and left.
Avoid. there's much nicer reasonably priced food in Bury.
Had a lovely buffet lunch 1st visit in around 6yrs . Still high standard, lots of choice and great value.
Visited for my son's birthday and was sadly very disappointed. The food seemed like it had potential to be good but the pods don't keep the food hot, it was barely warm.
It seemed quiet telling that the place was very quiet.
Very good food, very good value. Lovely lady at the front of house very concerned properly to cater to the vegan in our party and had a very good tofu dish cooked in addition for them. (Can't rate atmosphere as we ate very early on a weekday)
Haven't been since before Covid, they have made quite a few good changes.
All food is now in hot pods which are covered.
No duck or prawns but plenty to choose from, very wide choice plus desserts.
Very good value for money, would definitely recommend.
Not been here since before lock-down. Food is now kept in lidded bowls...which helps keep the heat in.
Lots of choices...you can go up as many times as you like...to try everything.
Really nice food.
Only negative is the drinks are a bit pricey
