This is a fantastic place with lots of character, the old world feel is warm and relaxing, a superb ambiance created by Lee and Mike and nothing is any trouble, evening meals cooked by Mike and served by Lee were exceptional. Will return without question.

You could not ask for more from this charming village restaurant in the Périgord region. The friendliness of the hosts and the care with which the meals are prepared are what sets 1500 apart. By the way, if you like sweet dessert wines like Monbazillac and Sauternes, be sure to try the local Saussignac (which is on 1500's wine list).
