I had the fried cod dinner. The breading was seasoned and tasted very good. The service was slow due to them being busy and they said they were short handed. The server started us off w with the fish dinner but said she would change it to all you can eat if we wanted more fish because they give a generous helping with the dinner. She was correct with that and we had plenty with the first serving.
First and last time. Food is horrible. How do u mess up a blt and fried pickles. Chips are the best on the plate. And it's ridiculous priced. Don't waste your time.
Super nice waitress. I got the tenderloin sandwich with fries. The tenderloin pretty good size and the fries were seasoned with a special seasoning which was good.
It's a bowling alley bar, and for what it's worth is way better than typical bar food. The cod I got was so big I was convincing people it was actually megalodon meat. Do not go in the water unless you've got Jason Statham with you throwing bombs at the sharks while riding a jet ski.
The chicken sandwich was good, but our other meals were borderline. We were glad that dining was separated from the bowling lanes so we didn't have that noise.
As I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Sam, a new hire waitress. She poured a great Jack and Coke. Had a great conversation with Kyle, the bar manager. Admittedly, the place was dead at 4:30 pm, but was promised to liven up as bowling leagues were scheduled to pull in. Both 6' Valley pool tables are level enough with good felt and rails. The one furthest from the bar being choice. The AMI jukebox has great selection and is not obnoxiously loud, unless it needs to be. Also, the bar is non smoking, which even as a smoker, I see as a plus. The Cod smells delicious! Stop by, stay awhile....
Food and staff were great, the ayce fish was the best I've had! Fellow diners should be avoided, don't even make eye contact, they might feel threatened.
Very clean place, cold beer, friendly staff, super quick food and the fish/fries were done to perfection! A little high on price for what you get but it was great on taste. Next time it will be the AYCE which is 7 days a week-yum!
