I didn't expect this bright, open space when a friend suggested eating Japanese. I liked the look and atmosphere from the moment that we walked in. Even before ordering our meal I was charmed by the warmth of the attractive owner.
I don't quite have the words to describe this type of meal. The table has a stove type cooking surface. You select your own vegtables and mushrooms from a large variety for you to pick from. The meats and seafood you order and they are brought to your table. A large boiling pot of broth, in our case it was divided so that I didn't get too spicy. However the spicy was not too spicy. The meats thinly sliced and tender, the seafood was tasty. I enjoyed the restaurant, the food, the free icecream desert and our hostess very much. I look forward to returning.
Good buffet style Shabu place.
