(PTR) PRECISION TOWING AND RECOVERY

After being denied service from 4 large local tow companies because my car was "too low", I was met with the best service from Kevin. He is the only person that knew how to safely and effectively tow my Camaro. If you have a nice lower car and are having trouble finding someone capable and trustworthy, look no further!!

PTR towed my utility trailer from Wal-Mart parking lot. Long story behind the reason I left it there (and miscommunication with Wal-Mart management) but at the end of the day, it happened (not PTR’s fault) and we simply wanted to pay the fees and get it back. We called on Friday evening when we found it had been towed and were told the fees were $257 and they would open at 10 AM on Saturday for retrieval. We called a bit earlier on Saturday to see if they happened to be in yet. The person who answered said yes; so, we went immediately to pick it up. While there, I noticed the posted business license was from 2022 & asked if he had a current one (the only way I, as a consumer, have to verify he is a legitimate business). He said yes, that the renewal was in process. When I pointed out that was a long process from 2022 to 2024, the man - who identified himself as the owner - became extremely agitated, told me I couldn’t demand anything of him (I didn’t anyway), told us to leave because he was closed, stated he was putting us on trespass notice….but then told us to come back Monday to get the trailer (not sure how that would work if we were truly in trespass notice). He was aggressive, rude, and refused to return our property. We did call the SO and were advised that it is considered a civil matter and to file a complaint with the BBB, a claim in magistrate’s court for any damages and/or extra expenses incurred due to his action (if we choose), and to write reviews stating our experience. I now also intend to send the photo of his expired business license to Horry County for investigation. Hopefully, he just neglected/forgot to post the current one.

EDITED TO ADD FOLLOWING OWNER'S RESPONSE: PLEASE do post your video and a picture of your 2022 business license that was posted in the office. Your $10k of video equipment will, thankfully, protect not only you but your "customers" as well. Slander (which you've also claimed of others who have left you a poor review) involves false statements. Your own video will prove that the statements in my review are true; therefore, I welcome your threat of legal action. The only false statements made are yours. Upon review of your video, I would bet you decide not to post it as you will realize no one cursed at you (even you, as far as I recall) and you NEVER offered for us to come back at 1 today. In fact, I (not my husband) am the one who said I was not leaving. . .and I definitely did not curse (and, we clearly did leave without any issue after re-thinking the situation and considering your threatening posture). Additionally, that "offer" (when we were already there with proper documentation and cash) makes about as much sense as your command of the English language.

Got left stranded by Quality Towing they came without a jump box. My insurance company then contacted PTR and with in 15 minutes they arrived and got me to the battery store. They were professional and efficient.

They picked up my car after a wreck, towed it to their secured lot, and made it available for insurance inspection. They also brought it out for me to empty it after insurance determined that it was totaled. These guys are highly recommended in my book!

Highly recommend! Tahoe disabled early on a Saturday morning and Kevin with Precision responded quickly and professionally and a great $! Family owned biz call em if you need a tow.

I can't praise this towing company enough! My car broke down on 31 and I called for a tow. They answered right away and responded quickly. I have a lowered performance car that is hard to load due to ground clearance, but they handled great. They were very cautious and professional when loading it, taking all necessary precautions. The price of the tow was very reasonable and I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

These are super experts. Specifically, the two guys who came to help us are like tow truck ninjas + men in black. I always have some older car and need a tow every year or two for various reasons. This tow truck team rolled up, hooked up my van, and had it off to the repair shop so fast … situation totally solved - did it even happen?

On a safety note, my van died in the middle of Highway 17 on a Friday evening at the start of a bike week. So much traffic was so mad. Precision dispatch understood the situation and had this premium team on the scene in under 15 minutes.

Kevin has towed several vehicles for us, Always shows up on time, his prices are the best In the Grand Strand, he is the go to guy when it comes to towing modified vehicles!!

His business ethics are outstanding and is always willing to work with the customers to satisfy their needs!!! I'd give 10 stars but there's no option.????????????????
