Best KPortal Reviews
I recently moved to Yorktown and was in desperate need of finding a consistent barber.
I stopped at the first place I saw and it happened to be Gkutz and I won’t be going anywhere else while I’m living here. Brian is one of the best barbers I have met in a long time. I haven’t had a solid fade like this since I was teenager. Great conversation as well.
My favorite barber to take my boys thier I live all the way in norfolk, its self explanatory
I had struggled to find a good barber for a while (especially as a female with a short, men’s haircut), and was driving 1.5hrs to Richmond for a mediocre cut. Yesterday was my first cut with Brian and this is the best my hair has looked. I will for sure be going back. Super professional, friendly, and amazing cut. Thanks Brian!
Brian was hands down the best barber I have met in a long. He engaged in conversation and gave me a amazing hair cut, and beard trim. Will recommend anytime
This is as good as it gets. It’s even special because I’m out of state. I walk out and I look awesome. I will go back to get lined up before I go back to my home state.
This is the first time that a new barber cut my hair and I have no complaints about it.
He is good, and professional. He handle himself well, and engage in conversation nicely with me while being quick and efficient.
I was a walk-in customer and let me tell you, I have not had this good of a fade since I was 9 years old. The barber I had was quick, but also professional. Good conversation, fade, edge up, and everything! I will definitely come back to this shop. 5 Stars
Great barber. I went in looking like a mountain man and came out clean and fresh. Best beard shape and cut I have every had and I'm 42. Great price also. The hair cut was great also but the fade, shape, and CLEAN lines made the whole cut awesome. I found my new permanent location.
Pleased with the end product, not pleased with the process.
Dennis cut my hair and it turned out great, but it was a painful haircut. Smooth is the last word I’d use to describe his cutting style. He was very choppy with the trimmer, and poked my head multiple times with the sharp ends of it. After the haircut it felt as if the back of my neck had razor burn.
The shop itself is alright, no real issues there.
One big improvement they can make is for the employees to have a standard uniform. The street clothes they wear adds an unprofessional aspect to the atmosphere. Uniforms with names would go a long way, and may even instill a sense of pride in the barbers.
Other notes: they only accept cash and they don’t have prices listed. When I asked what I owed, Dennis said “whatever”. On top of that, I had to run to an ATM to get cash. Not a good business model.
